26th Annual Meeting of the Midwest Econometrics Group
October 21-22, 2016, Urbana-Champaign
Call for papers
The Department of Economics of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is pleased to host the 26th Annual Meeting of the Midwest Econometrics Group (MEG 2016). The conference will begin with lunch at noon on Friday, October 21, 2016, and will conclude after lunch on Saturday, October 22, 2016. The conference keynote after dinner talk will be given by Frank Schorfheide of the University of Pennsylvania. Lunch and dinner on Friday and breakfast and lunch on Saturday will be provided as part of the conference. The conference program will include a mixture of contributed sessions, and poster sessions.
To help us appropriately allocate papers into individual themed sessions, we request that each submission prominently display one or two keywords on the cover or first page. Keywords should, when possible, be chosen among the following set of alternatives: Bayesian Methods, Econometric Theory, Financial Econometrics, Panel Data, Macroeconometrics, Microeconometrics, Nonparametric Methods, or Time Series.
Although we will make every effort to have a full and diverse program, please be advised that submission of a paper does not guarantee inclusion into the final program. Some submissions not included in the main program will be invited to present in a poster session during the reception before the conference dinner on Friday.
