Admission requirements

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent with a "B" or better grade point average from an accredited university. Applicants must have a score of at least 550 paper-based test or 213 computer-based test or 79 internet-based test on the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)


Application


The program is scheduled to start in October 2008. The application deadline is July 25, 2008.

The application proceeds in two steps:

Step 1

  • Application Form.
  • Transcript of Courses for last 2 Years of Studies.
  • Recommendation Letter: Two letters of Recommendation (to be sent separately by the recommender using the provided form)
  • The application fee of 50 Euros must be deposited to the following account:
      National Bank of Greece
    No: 105/54500552
    For the ELKE (Graduate Program of University of Illinois).
The completed application, i.e., transcripts, letters of recommendation, the original bank receipt of the 50 Euro deposit or a scanned copy of the receipt, must either be sent by E-mail to econ_msei@ad.uiuc.edu or by regular mail to:

Step 2


After applications have been reviewed, successful applicants will be invited for an interview in Athens with University of Illinois program faculty and staff after July 25, 2008.
